These courses are predominantly workshop based. ICAT is one of the UK’s leading aerospace education and training providers. A national Network Centre of Excellence, ICAT is also one of a few centres in Great Britain to have gained approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as a Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation
ICAT runs a 10 week Saturday Club for Years 9, 10 and 11
school pupils who are considering a future career in aircraft
engineering. The Saturday Club, run with Careers Wales is
free of charge and a great experience.
