Courses are ideal for learners who are interested in a career, or further study, related to the Aviation or Airline industries. Courses will enable learners to gain qualifications and skills which will prepare them for broad career options in the civil or military aviation and airline industries

 Airline Aviation:

Our Airline Aviation course combines technical and practical Engineering training with Cabin crew courses, giving you a full insight into the aviation industry.

These courses are predominantly workshop based. Therefore for safety reasons personal protective clothing may be required

 Our acclaimed aircraft engineering provision is based at Barry College International Centre for Aerospace Training (ICAT).
ICAT is one of the UK’s leading aerospace education and training providers. A national Network Centre of Excellence, ICAT is also one of a few centres in Great Britain to have gained approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as a Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation

‘Saturday Club’ – for pupils in Years 9, 10 & 11
ICAT runs a 10 week Saturday Club for Years 9, 10 and 11
school pupils who are considering a future career in aircraft
engineering.  The Saturday Club, run with Careers Wales is
free of charge and a great experience.
