Would you like to gain skills in CAD?
Computer Aided Design is used in a huge range of businesses such as interior design, landscape gardening and building, as well as product design, website design and animation companies to name a few. Many people require qualifications in Computer Aided Design, or CAD as it’s called, for their job, for example kitchen fitters in large retailers. Other people develop CAD skills to enhance their own business, for example landscape gardeners who create 3D garden designs for clients. The first stage of Computer Aided Design is 2D CAD. This course enables you to draw 2D flat images on the computer. For example, a landscape gardener would create an aerial view of a garden design using 2D CAD. The second stage is 3D CAD. 3D CAD is used in a huge range of organisations to create a ‘real life’ or solid model image of an object or area. The landscape gardener would therefore create a 3D image of a garden design. Finally animation courses allow your 3D images to come to life. So, the landscape gardener would animate the 3D image to allow the client to tour their garden design.
Where can it take me? CAD learners have undertaken the courses to enhance their careers – some had their own businesses, others wanted to progress their careers.
