Would you like to train to be an accountant?Do you need to develop skills in finance?
If you would like to train to become an accountant, the highly respected Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) courses offer you a direct route. At Barry College you can spend 3 years studying AAT courses, working from AAT Foundation through to Technician level. Once you have completed the AAT Technician, you can look to progress onto professional exams to become a Chartered Accountant. This route can get you to your goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant in less time than going to university. You maybe eligible for funding through the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme if you are in an accountancy job. This allows you to work, earn and continue your AAT study part time, spending 1 day per week in College. The College also runs established courses for developing your skills in finance, to further your career or to support you own business. These include the popular RSA and Sage courses.
