On full-time courses you develop excellent practical skills for a career in hospitality and catering. Our ‘hands-on’ courses teach you to prepare and present high quality food, for future careers in both kitchen and restaurant work. Students have work experience at the renowned College restaurant ‘The Glamorgan Suite’. They also gain experience in top class restaurants, hotels and events including Royal Ascot, the British Grand Prix and Buckingham Palace garden parties. Part-time courses are for people already working in catering who want to gain industry qualifications to further their career. On these courses there is a practical focus and students are assessed in their work. Where will it take me? 95% of full-time students have gained employment by the end of their course, some in top hotels and restaurants. Past students have progressed to high profile careers. This includes gaining employment with TV chef Rick Stein, with top international event catering company Sodexho Prestige and one student has even set up and become the manager of the Four Seasons Hotel in Dubai - one of the world’s best hotels.
