Would you like to gain a qualification in Health, Social Care or Welfare?
Barry College has a reputation for quality professional training in Health, Welfare, Care and Housing. Our full-time courses in Health and Social Care provide you with career opportunities in community care, nursing, social work, youth work and other care related careers. These courses have a practical focus and all learners attend a work placement every week. Many learners go into work in the health care sector after their courses, while others progress onto university. Our part-time courses are established as some of the best in the country. These courses are offered day-release, during evenings and flexi-study to enable you to fit learning around work. These courses are taught by tutors with much experience in the sector. Where will it take me? This year all those completing the popular Access to Nursing course progressed to university. Many gained places to study nursing while others gained places on specialist courses such as physiotherapy, radiography or occupational therapy.
