Would you like to become a qualified electrician?Do you work in the industry and need professional qualifications?
Our Electrical Installation courses are taught at Barry College Colcot Road in Barry. Barry College can train you to start a career as an electrician, as well as support you throughout your career, offering professional qualifications required by industry. To train to become an electrician with Barry College you need to find a suitable job in electrical installation, usually as an apprentice. You will then come to College whilst working to gain the City & Guilds 2330 and related NVQ qualifications. If you choose this route you will come to College one day a week. Our part-time industry qualifications for professionals in the electrical trade are run throughout the year. We work with you to ensure your skills and qualifications meet industry requirements throughout your career. Where can it take me? There is a need for skilled and qualified electricians. In South Wales large scale building projects such as St David’s 2 Shopping Centre, the International Sports Village and the Defence Training Academy continue this need over the next decade.
